Seasonal, honest food
from our farmyard kitchen.

The restaurant and café at Priors Hall Farm, Lindsell — with our own butchery and greengrocers just across the yard. Karl cooks with locally reared meat and fresh vegetables, delivered each morning. Grab a coffee, take a walk across the arable fields, and stay for lunch.

Our Story

A butchery, a greengrocers — and a kitchen in the middle of it all.

Priors Hall Farm has been farming in Lindsell for generations. For much of that time it was home to our own pigs, cattle, and Great Grandpa's flock of sheep, which he ran from the age of 8 right through to 80, reared on site for the butchery. The livestock has since moved off the farm, but our meat is still chosen the same way — animals reared slowly and locally, to the highest welfare standards. The passion for honest, traceable food hasn't changed; only the field they're standing in.

That meat still comes through our own butchery, just across the yard, and is cut to order. Alongside it sits our greengrocers, stocked with seasonal vegetables, fruit and salad. Karl builds his menu around seasonal ingredients and flavours our customers will be craving.

More than anything, the farmyard is a place for the community to come together — somewhere for neighbours to catch up over coffee, for families to settle in for a long lunch, and for walkers and visitors to slow down and enjoy a corner of the countryside.

We're set in the middle of a working arable farm, so there are quiet tracks and footpaths stretching out from the yard. Grab a coffee, take the dog for a walk across the fields, then return for pastries or brunch — or stay for lunch. That's the rhythm of the place.

  • Seasonal, honest food. Locally reared meat and fresh vegetables, turned into all the dishes we love.
  • A community hub. Restaurant, butchery and greengrocers, all working side by side.
  • Coffee & a walk. Arable farm tracks open from the yard — dogs, wellies and muddy boots welcome.
